Since the beginning of 2020, I’ve held a position in the board of AIGA Detroit, mainly focusing on mentorship. With the presidential election in 2020 I wanted to make a point to get involved in a Get Out The Vote campaign. We partnered with Michigan United to assemble a group of volunteer designers to execute their Get Out The Vote campaign. The campaign consisted of content creation for the Michigan United Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook accounts. Our team produced over 80 pieces of unique content to encourage people to vote in the presidential election and counteract the misinformation and chaos surrounding the idea of a presidential election in the midst of a global pandemic.
